Skype for Linux

Skype is a popular program for using the internet to make cheap phone calls.

The cost of calls is often much lower than a traditional land line, and calls to other Skype users have no cost at all.

As well as individual calls, Skype can now host conversations between several people.

A Skype account set up on Windows can be used with the Linux software, just enter the username and password.
