Opensource MSN client for Windows, Mac and Linux
Chat with friends on MSN with aMSN
There are plenty of alternative instant messenger clients around but they often sacrifice some of the advanced features.
aMSN just works with the MSN network but includes lots of features missing from other clients, the nudge button is one of them.
Nudge rocks the other person's screen to get their attention.
Installation is simple and an MSN account can be added to log in automatically or you can opt to login in by hand, better for stopping others using the account without permission.
There are lots of extra plugins available on the aMSN site that add extra features such as some games and emailing conversation logs.
The look of aMSN can be changed with one of the many themes (called skins) available on the website.
This download for aMSN is for Windows but there are also versions for Mac, Linux and FreeBSD. As it is opensource, the code behind the software can also be downloaded.
