Encrypt emails to keep them private
Keeps emails safe from prying eyes
Email is very convenient for communication but it is not very secure. Emails are passed from server to server on the way to their destination and anyone can read them. Private Post encrypts emails, scrambling the text so it cannot be read without the proper code.
It makes encypting emails as simple as pressing a Make Private button. The contents of the email is then converted into a file attached to the email.
It works directly with Outlook and Outlook Express. This is the download for Outlook Express, the Outlook version can be found here. If the recipient of the mail does not use either of those there is a standalone program for reading emails.
Plans are in progress for versions for Evolution, Kmail and Thunderbird on Linux and AppleMail, Entourage, Eudora and Thunderbird on Mac.
