Improve your Twittering with TweetDeck

Twitter is a great way to stay in touch with friends, but after you have started following a certain number of people it becomes hard to keep track of them all. Tweet Deck adds several new tools that will quickly become essential.

TweetDeck works with Adobe Air, so you will need to download this first before attempting to install it.

It can show Twitter messages in several columns. There is no need to search for direct messages as they are now clearly shown in their own column.

Weblink shortening is built in and you can choose from several different providers, depending on which one you prefer.

It is also much easier to reply to messages. Simply hover the cursor over the image shown by each Twitter message to see four options, including reply.

TweetDeck can also be used to update your Facebook profile.
