Chromepass

The ability of browsers to save passwords is very useful but not using them means that they are quickly forgotten.

Chromepass can extract usernames and passwords as well as the website names saved in Google Chrome.

What is worrying about this program is that it works so well. It needs no installation – simply unzip the program and run it to gain access to all the passwords for that user account.

It is interesting to note that Opera encrypts passwords in such a way that they can be used to log in but they cannot be extracted either by Opera or a separate program.
