Keep sticky notes on your Windows Desktop with P Notes Portable

Most of us keep stack of Post It notes (or something similar) on our desks to record the various bits of information that come our way during the day or to list jobs that need doing.

P Notes Portable offers exactly the same idea, just on your Windows Desktop. And as a Portable App, it can be installed on USB memory key so your notes go wherever you do.

Installation is simple. You can either run this download and select the install location or use the Portable Apps launcher.

When started, P Notes displays an icon in the Notification Area that is used for most tasks. Double-clicking on this icon creates a new note. A right-click gives more options including creating a note from the clipboard

P Notes is not just a simple note-taking app as a schedule can be applied to notes for reminders. This helps prevent clutter by letting you hide notes until they are needed.

Security is not forgotten as it is possible to protect your notes with a password. This is particulary important if you plan to store the notes on a USB memory key.

A good amount of formatting can be applied to the text in notes including font size, underlining and bold. Lists of items can be formatted in plenty of different ways, which is ideal if you plan to use PNotes to store a todo list.

The appearance of notes can be adjusted with different colours and degrees of transparency.
