This free software has a lot of features to help improve your photographs
The interface is simple to use and has fun features for editing photos
PhotoScape is a useful application for editing and working with your photos and images. It has a number of functions for tweaking light, colour balance and red-eye removal. It is simple to use and most of the editing functions work well enough.
There are also options to add borders, text or objects and also resize and crop your photos. While the interface might look a bit basic, it is very easy to use and most tasks can be completed with just a few clicks.
For people who want to use some more advanced custom options, these are available. There is also a batch editor and some rather strange options for combining images together. The GIF function makes it easy to combine photos together to make animated GIF images.
There is also a batch-renaming function and an image converter. For a free application, Photoscape has a surprisingly large number of functions, most of which are easy to use and well worth having.
At times it was a little slow and it did crash once or twice. While PhotoScape is very good, we would still reccomend Paint.NET.
