Lots of customisation options and easy to follow updates make this Twitter app a great download
Tweedle has lots of options for customising how it looks

Tweedle is a great Twitter application for Android phones and tablets. Once installed we needed to sign in to our Twitter account and with this done the main timeline of most recent posts appeared.
Swiping down at the top of the screen loaded the most recent updates and a swipe from right to left displayed mentions and then direct messages.

Curiously it displayed the name of the profile handle above the Twitter handle, so we soon got to learn the ‘real' names of several people we followed rather than their @ username. There are two buttons at the top for posting updates and search.
Pressing the menu button on our Android phone gave us two options; profile and settings. Selecting profile displayed our Twitter profile, but annoying there was no option to edit it.
The Settings menu was far more comprehensive and allowed us to get Tweedle running exactly as we wanted. First we could pick a theme to change how the app looked. The update frequency for posts could also be changed along with notifications for mentions and messages.
We were also able to change the default media provider used when uploading pictures – so YFrog, TwitPic, Lockerz and the like were all available. A final option for SSL encryption, turned off by default, was very welcome indeed.
This is an excellent Twitter application. It's free, doesn't have any ads and it let us change lots of settings.
