Looking for something delicious to cook or got a recipe to share with the world?
People can review recipes and share pictures of their own creations
Tablets are great for using in the kitchen - so long as you've got clean hands. Looking up and following recipes is easy and quick making them the ideal culinary companion.
The Recipe Search app is a good way to find recipes and follow them while cooking. There are a seemingly endless number of recipes to discover with more being added all the time. Unfortunately a lot had a slightly American slant, but in most cases this won't prove an issue when sourcing ingredients or following instructions.

There were some small adverts that pop up from time to time, but they were far from intrusive. A paid for version of the app removes these adverts. The app is really nicely designed and looks great on tablets with large icons and menus that swipe open showing lots of care has been taken to tailor it for touchscreens.
If the mood takes you, there is a cooking community to join and contribute to. Once an account was created we could take pictures of our creations and share them with other users. We could also ask questions about recipes and leave reviews of how delicious - or not - they were.
At times there were too many options and features, which made the app feel a tad unwieldy. For most the core features of searching for recipes and adding concoctions of their own will suffice. For those that want to create shopping lists, food plans and the like the extra options will be a welcome addition.
The app looks great on smartphones and on tablets with large images and easy to read text making finding something good to cook a pleasurable experience.
