Recipies from writers to help victims of earthquake
A Canadian food writer, Julie Van Rosendaal joined forces with 26 bloggers to create a cookbook to raise money for the victims of Haiti.
Founder of a Canadian food blog, Dinner with Julie, as well as publishing cookery books in the traditional way, Rosendaal got hold of some other bloggers who write about food to create a book in under a month.
It has been on sale now for just over a week and raised C$35,000 and everything that is donated before 12 February will be doubled by the Canadian government (up to $100,000 Canadian dollars).
People can visit the Blurb blog site to buy a copy of the 110-page book for £13.67, plus postage and packing, which starts at £3.99.
Pyaments can be made by credit card or using Paypal. Once ordered, the book is then printed, bound and then sent as a paperback. Orders are scheduled to ship on or before 22 February.
