Gear4 has released a headphone set for the iPod that works as a hands-free kit for Bluetooth mobile phones.

The BluEye comes with an in-line remote control for controlling the iPod that doubles as an FM radio receiver with 15 station presets.

It uses Bluetooth to link to a mobile phone to pause music when a call is received and to display the incoming number on the iPod screen. A built-in microphone means the call can be taken without touching the mobile phone.

The BlueEye costs £50.
