Doctor Who fans can now download the last four series of the science fiction favourite from iTunes.

From today, a series will be released each week, starting with series one, starring Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper. Series two with David Tennant will be available from 9 December, series three on 16 December and series four on 23 December.

Fans can download and keep a single digital episode, which will cost £1.89, or a full series for £20.

Simon Danker, director of digital media at BBC Worldwide, said: “Doctor Who is one of the most popular and enduring brands on British TV and the new series has introduced the Time Lord to a whole new audience.

“Now, Doctor Who fans young and old can revisit their favourite episodes any time and anywhere.”
