Medion and Tesco have teamed up to offer customers a multimedia desktop PC for under £600.

The Medion 6615 costs £579 and comes with Intel’s Core 2 Quad technology and an Nvidia Geforce 8600GT DirectX 10 graphics card, which supports 3D gaming and DVD viewing.

It also has a 1TB hard disk, Windows Vista Home Premium and a triple TV tuner which supports Freeview DVB-T, DVB-S Satellite and analogue TV, and comes with a remote control.

In addition the PC has an integrated 8-in-1 memory card reader, DVD rewriter and is bundled with Tesco software. This includes a year's free subscription to Tesco Internet Security, which normally costs £15.98.

The deal also includes full versions of Tesco Photorestyler, and Tesco Personal Finance, which cost £9.97 each, and Tesco Complete Office, which costs £19.97.

However, it does not come with a monitor, which could bump up the price tag.

The 6615 is available at Tesco Extra, Tesco Homeplus stores and online. It comes with a one-year warranty.
