Beg and Gravel for Commodore's media player

Introduces media players for home and on the move

Commodore is set to introduce a range of media devices called Gravel.

Using content from CommodoreWorld, users of the Gravel In Pocket and Gravel In Home will be able to download music, videos, games, podcasts, radio and TV programs to their device of choice.

The Commodore Gravel In Pocket comes with either 512MB, 1GB or 2GB flash memory and has an SD card slot for further expansion. Images are viewed on its 2.8in screen, and video plays at 24 frames per second.

The player supports all major file formats, such as MP4, MPEG, DivX, Xvid, WMV, streaming WMV, JPEG, BMP, GIF, MP3, WMA and WAVE.

The Commodore Gravel In Home is an entertainment centre that grabs content from Video On Demand, Replay TV and streaming music services. It comes with an integrated 80GB hard disk, enabling media to be stored and watched on a television.

Pricing and launch dates have yet to be confirmed.
