Bunch of fives: MP's favourite computer games

Don't mention the bonus level...

It's been fun and games in Westminster this week and as the E3 games expo draws, our thoughts turned to some of the classic games that our esteemed political leaders might be relaxing to over the weekend...

Half-Life 2
How Gordon Brown would love the chance to swap places with bespectacled physics-hardcase Gordon Freeman. Presented with the choice of fighting the Combine in a snug radiation-proof suit or taking on Hazel Blears in the back benches, we'd be heading for City 17 on the first train. Watch out for the shadowy figure of spited chancellor Alistair 'Dr Breen' Darling, Gordon!

Crackdown
Kick and shoot your way through the gangs controlling Pacific City and power-up in the process. Becoming bigger and stronger, this bionically enhanced cop causes plenty of collateral damage - but his expense account should cover it.

Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem
Kids puzzle play with dumb dog motivated by hunger; like so many of our MPs this hound has unerring knack of sniffing out and scoffing all the goodies on offer while playing dumb when caught. The mayhem caused is evident; the mystery is how he (and they) get away with it.

Tomb Raider
Fictional female British archaeologist - the ultimate pistol-packing mama. Has Hazel Blears, often pictured in leathers astride a motorbike and with a professed penchant for ‘rocking the boat’ modeling herself on our Lara? Is she after the ultimate prize; to bury a moribund Gordon Brown?

Leisure Suit Larry
Ageing Lothario Larry has to resort to porn because he doesn’t have much luck with the ladies. Richard Timney, on the other hand, was caught one-handed in the expenses imbroglio. Timney, husband of former home secretary Jacqui Smith, was forced to apologise after an expenses claim was submitted for what the papers sniffily described as ‘two pornographic films’ that were viewed at the couple’s Redditch home.
