UK's largest supermarket moves into computer software
Tesco is to start selling computer software in its stores and online starting this month.
The supermarket will be selling six packages in 100 of its UK stores.
It has entered into a partnership with software company Formjet to produce the software. Formjet already distributes Panda antivirus and the Ability Office software in the UK.
The Tesco software range will include office, antivirus and photo-editing software. In addition to the products being on the shelves, they will be available at Tesco's new software website.
Each of the software titles will cost less than £20, the company said.
