Game lets players exercise their brains
A new game promises to give players' minds a work-out.
Mindscape's Brain Trainer includes different types of puzzles meant to stimulate mental activity and improve brain power.
The game comes hot on the heels of the success of Nintendo's Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for the Nintendo DS, which has become a surprise hit over the summer among people who don't usually play games.
The BBC has also been getting in on the act with How To Improve Your Memory.
Brain Trainer includes 15 mental exercises in five subject areas – mathematics, spaces, deduction, memory and words. The game tracks players' development over a matter of weeks and months.
Brain Trainer comes out on September 15, priced £15.
