GPS and access to Google Maps on offer
T-Mobile has added to its range with a smartphone that has built-in GPS and access to Google Maps.
The MDA Vario IV is a slide touchscreen phone and has a Qwerty keypad that lets people type out emails and letters as they would on a normal computer keyboard.
There is a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus and Microsoft Office Mobile, which includes Word, Excel and Powerpoint, is pre-installed.
The phone, available at T-Mobile stores from July, will connect to T-Mobile’s HSDPA network to give people internet speeds of up to 7.2 Mbits/sec. Prices are yet to be announced.
