O2 was awarded 72 per cent for reliability compared to the 63 per cent to AOL, 61 per cent to BT, 58 per cent to Sky and 54 per cent to Orange. Talktalk was found to be the lowest here with 46 per cent.
The 79 per cent O2 scored for customer service was also way ahead of Sky, AOL, BT, Orange and Talktalk, which scored 52 per cent, 50 per cent, 49 per cent, 45 per cent and 42 per cent respectively.
Sebastien Lahtinen, co-founder of Thinkbroadband, said: "O2 has entered a very competitive market with highly compelling services and our users have clearly indicated that they currently perform very well in all three categories against the large established operators."
