Sweex releases 7-port USB hub

No more shortage of USB ports for your peripherals.

For people with more USB products than available ports, Sweex has developed an external 7-port USB 2 hub.

The Sweex External 7 Port USB 2.0 HUB enables users to increase the number of USB connections in one go. The user can connect this device to a free USB port on the computer, and have access to seven additional USB ports immediately.

The device has a maximum data transfer speed of 480Mbit/s and is hot-swappable, meaning that each USB device, including the hub itself, can be connected or removed whilst the computer is switched on. In case of an overload, the device detects this and shuts the relevant port is switched off.

The HUB is available now and costs £17.
