Virgin Media adds to sports content

Internet service provider signs deal with digital sports agency

Virgin Media has teamed up with digital sports agency Perform to give customers on-demand sports news and interviews.

The content will include highlights of all Barclays Premier League, Coca-Cola Championship and League 1 and League 2 football matches. Other major sporting events will include tennis, golf and motorsport events.

The content will be available on Virgin Media’s Sport website and Alex Green, portal managing director for Virgin Media, said: "Virgin Media will deliver an outstanding multi-sports experience with a wide choice of video content, highlights and editorial."
