HP launches new PCs, netbooks and laptops

HP has released details of its new product range consisting of new netbooks, laptops and desktop PCs in time to take advantage of the upcoming holiday season.

HP's Omni 100 is an all-in-one desktop PC with wireless keyboard and mouse included. The package includes a 20in monitor an ATI Radeon graphics card and up to 1.5TB of storage. Prices start from £499.99.

The Touchsmart 300/600 series of desktops offers touchscreen technology with selected models also including built-in TV, Freeview and Blu-ray Player. Prices start at £999.

The company also announced a new netbook. The HP Mini 210 is available in a range of colours, such as crimson red and features a frameless display and a lightweight, thin design. Prices start at £299.

New in HP's laptop range are the HP Envy14 Entertainment Notebook, which includes a metallic body and more powerful processor. This costs £1,299.

The HP Pavilion dv6 and dm3 Entertainment PCs offer "a portable entertainment centre" and include HP's Mediasmart 3.0 software. The recommended retail price for these PCs are £599 and £499 respectively.

The HP Envy17 laptop comes with 3D glasses so that users can watch videos in 3D. Prices for the laptop start at £1,599 and it will go on sale at the end of October.

Finally, the HP Envy14 Beats Edition laptop features a limited-edition design and "state-of-the-art audio technology". Included in the package are Adobe’s Photoshop, Elements 8 and Premiere Elements 8 programs. Prices start at £1,399.
