Tired of pushing your way through busy high streets at the weekend? Why not take a virtual stroll down famous shopping spots such as London's Oxford Street or Fifth Avenue in New York using the interactive Superhighstreet.com website.

Users can stroll down the street as they would in real life going back or forth as they wish, cross the road in order to have a peek at the latest gadgets in that favourite shop, or check the menu in that new must-visit restaurant across the road.

Photos represent shops and, when hovering the mouse over the shop window, users can take advantage of exclusive special offers.

Instead of entering the shop or restaurant through the door, users click their way through to a shop's website, a review of a restaurant or relevant listings if the establishment doesn't have a website of its own.

Below the virtual street, there's also a link to Google Maps which shows exactly where you are standing. Weather information and the local time are also shown.
