External graphics card for notebooks revealed
Fujitsu-Siemens has announced a number of new computers, including notebooks with a "silent mode" button and an unusual graphics card.
The Amilo 3000 series includes notebooks and desktop PCs, all finished in black and white.
A control on the Amilo L, P, S and X notebooks will reduce the noise generated by cooling fans. They each have a Blu-ray disc drive and wireless USB – a new way to connect peripheral devices wirelessly – as well as "spill proof" keyboards.
The Amilo X will work with the "Graphics Booster", an external graphics card with a small, square design that adds more 3D power for gaming.
There will also be three new desktop PCs. The Amilo L is a “family desktop”, while the Amilo P is aimed at those interested in gaming and multimedia.
