BBC viewers are being invited to take part in an interactive multi-media quiz show next month.
The BBC plans to test the IQ of the nation with a one-off interactive TV programme. PC users will be able to answer the same questions simultaneously on their PC as on-air contestants face the two presenters in the studio. In order to do this, a small flash application from the BBC website needs to be downloaded .
People can also download scorecards from the BBC's website if they prefer to play in front of the TV. Viewers who have Sky interactive TV, can play along using their remote control. Although test scores will be emailed to participants on the night, after 11 May, when the programme is shown, people, including cable customers with interactive digital TV, can log on to the BBC site at any time to complete the online IQ test.
The IQ test will focus on categories such as language, memory, numbers and perception. The BBC has also provided the chance to practice before the big day there are some exercises you can try on the BBC website. The final results to show the brainiest Britain's will be compiled from participants across the country.
