Website compares international mobile roaming charges

Roaming Advisor is a comparison website set up to give people information on the prices charged by mobile phone operators for making calls to and from countries outside the European Union.

Rune Sovndahl, who set up the website said that while travellers to Europe had benefited as a result of caps to charges for calls within the EU, these didn't apply to calls made to and from countries outside member states.

Roaming charges for the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Far East are provided on the website.
