Voters can download the tool to get updates on general election from Conservative party
The Conservative Party have launched a General Election iPhone app.
The tool, which is free to download from Apple’s App Store, is designed to help supporters keep up to date with the latest news from the Conservative’s campaign trail.
Features include a guide to all the Party’s key policy areas and a virtual ‘swingometer’ to show how voting intentions are changing.
The app also lets voters receive automatic Twitter updates from the Conservatives, plus offers integrated access to the Tory’s Facebook page.
Jeremy Hunt, shadow culture secretary and online campaigning spokesman said: ”This iPhone app will help both existing supporters and floating voters learn more about our policies, connect with us on social networks and share political news with their friends.”
