Free download developed to support National Family Week
Tomtom users can now download a free set of family friendly points of interest (POIs).
According to new research from Enjoy England, the country's official tourism website, five million people are considering a holiday at home this year rather than going abroad.
The POIs, which are available on the Enjoy England site, are said to help families save time and help them find new places to explore around England.
They have been developed in aid of National Family Week, which encourages families to spend time together and give information about venues and attractions around the country.
These include beaches, theme parks, campsites and wildlife centres as well as 5,000 attractions and more than 500 Tourist Information Centres.
Tomtom representative Damian Woodward said: “We are pleased to support National Family Week and help families explore new places around England.”
