Zotac launches new Fusion-powered Zbox

New mini PC uses AMD's latest laptop processor

Zotac used CES 2011 to launch a new mini PC in its Zbox range that uses AMD's new Fusion processor.

The Zbox AD03 includes a Blu-ray disc player, and looks almost identical to the HD-ID33 model we reviewed previously.

The Fusion chip incorporates a processor and graphics engine in one, and is designed for portable computers so uses little power and generates little heat.

The company's Tuan Le Huynh told us it gives "very good graphics performance .. and low power consumption".

The AD03 will be available within the next few weeks. Many other manufacturers are showing Fusion-powered laptops at CES, including HP's Pavilion DM1.
