Microsoft says ten per cent of users have experienced problems with the update
Microsoft has been forced to suspend a Windows Phone 7 update for Samsung phones after users experienced serious problems.
The company announced that due to a 'technical issue' affecting a proportion of Samsung phones it had stopped updates to Samsung devices as a precaution.
The company said around ten per cent of users have experienced problems with the update, of which around half were caused by "a bad Internet connection or insufficient computer storage space".
Writing about the update, Microsoft's Micheal Stroh admitted that the process had not gone perfectly but that Microsoft was "committed to learning" from the first update and was working on "improving the process."
