Get access to online storage from your smartphone
HiDrive, a new smartphone app from online storage company Strato, lets users access files stored online from an iPhone, iPad or Android device.
The app lets smartphone users download and share documents and files stored on their online account. It is free to download and works in conjunction with a Strato HiDrive account.
There is also a mail upload function that allows for files to be uploaded via email without the need to log-in.
The version of the app for iPhone and iPad allows movie files and music to be streamed so media files stored online can be viewed on the go. Strato said that media streaming would not be availble for Android devices until 2012.
There is more information about HiDrive available here.
