Digital download site 7digital sells album from British rockers in high-quality Flac format as well as 16-bit Flac plus normal MP3 and AAC versions
Radiohead fans can get the group's latest album, The King of Limbs as a high-quality audio download from 7digital.
According to the digital media company, which is the only place allowing you to download the tracks, this is the first time an album from a major band has been released in the high-quality Flac (free lossless audio codec) 24-bit format.
However for people with MP3 players that can't support this format, the £8.99 download will also include a 16-bit Flac and AAC 320Kbits/sec version of the album.
Alternatively 7Digital also offers a regular MP3 and AAC 320Kbits/sec version for £6.99.
Ben Drury, 7digital's chief executive, said: "We're pioneering the move towards higher quality audio formats that offer higher quality music than the CD equivalents.
He went on to say that as visual media such as films and television, have all moved towards higher quality HD formats, and the 24-bit Flac format is the musical equivalent of HD.
