Youngsters and parents can learn Morse code and attend spy workshops
Bletchley Park has scheduled a series of events for the Easter holidays including spy workshops for youngsters.
In the run-up to Easter the Bletchley Park Trust is running two family events on the 13th and 20th April. This will be followed by the Park's annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Easter Monday, 25 April.
The events have been designed for children from the age of four upwards and activities on the Family Fun Wednesdays include crafts, spy workshops and lessons in how to send Morse code. There will also be interactive displays about the role of pigeons during World War II and specially created children's tours.
The traditional Easter Egg Trail around the Park on Easter Monday, has an added bonus; everyone who completed this will be entered into Bletchley Park's prize draw.
The Trust is also running a ‘Hunt the Chick Trail' for children in the Toy Museum.
It said chicks will be hidden among a huge range of 1940s and 1950s toys and household items providing a trip down memory lane for the older generation.
There will also be a hands-on workshop, where the children can learn how to make an Easter-themed moving toy.
