Users will still be able to view unwatched content until 20 June

Seesaw, the online catch-up TV website, will shut down on 20 June.

Customers have received an email explaining that the website's parent company Arquiva is no longer able to support the services, many of which were free.

Seesaw said that from Tuesday 31 May, it would not be offering rental programmes and stop signing up new subscribers to Seesaw Nonstop.

Over the remaining weeks, 3,500 hours of free programmes will still be available to watch including catch-up from the website's content partners 4oD and Demand Five.

Any active subscribers to Seesaw Nonstop, will be issued with a full refund of their last payment after 31 May.

Users of the service who have unwatched rentals stored in their 'My Premium' folder will be given a full refund but will still be able to watch the programmes, free, until 20 June if the licences are still active.
