PC Peripherals vows to keep the Mesh brand alive following buyout
Reza Jafari, who has bought the assets of Mesh Computers, said it was his intention to keep the company trading as a PC builder.
In a phone call to Computeractive, Mr Jafari said the Mesh brand was respected and the company had had a "very good reputation" that he wanted to build on.
"We are keeping the name. It is a great name and we will carry on as before, hopefully only better," he said.
Mr Jafari, who is also the owner and director of computer component distribution company, PC Peripherals, now the new Mesh Computers' parent company, has only bought the assets of Mesh.
This includes the name, brand and goodwill but not the troubled PC builder's liabilities. This means legally the new company is not bound to honour previous contracts Mesh has made with businesses or consumers before it went into administration.
However he told us that he had every intention of honouring warranties; even if they were extended warranties and he would try to help even if a PC is found to be inherently faulty, but is out of warranty.
"We will honour a warranty no matter how long it is and always see what we can do to help people who don't have a warranty," he told us.
Mr Jafari said that people can contact Mesh as usual using the company's phone number, 020 8438 3335. At the moment this goes straight to voicemail but the messages are being picked up.
The website is still live but the sales and other contact phones numbers on the website are still active do not appear at the moment to be answered.

Mesh Computers
I purchased my Mesh Inspire 550 in January this year, and had it delivered in February. So far, it has been faultless, and I am very pleased with it. I trust that I shall get any backup required by the following owners.

Mesh Computers
I'm not suprised, it had to happen eventually, in my experience of this company, it had the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with, ever! The sort of company you buy from only once

Lost
I bought a PC last year. Recently it was sent back for repair, in May, and I have still heard nothing. On top of that I cannot contact anyone about it as all the numbers are dead or recorded message. I fear my £1500 system is now gone for good.

What a shame
I purchased my first computer from Mesh in 1998. it worked and never broke down until 2010. I got a new one from Mesh and that has been just as reliable.
