Multimi gives users a single control panel for social networks and websites

The popular anti-virus company AVG has released a new free program that promises to let people more easily manage their online social lives.

The new service, Multimi, allows people to access social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, email accounts and 'cloud' services such as YouTube or Flickr.

By giving users a single control panel for many of the networks and websites they use it allows them to better control how they share and communicate.

Multimi is a collabaration between AVG and Israeli company Zbang It. Users will be protected by AVG's Linkscanner security technology, which guards against online threats.

It is currently in testing but is open to the public as a free download – click here to visit the Multimi website and try it.
