The latest update, codenamed Mango, includes a raft of changes to the Windows Phone 7 operating system
Microsoft is continuing to roll out its Windows Phone 7.5 ‘Mango' update to mobile handsets.
The company has been sending out updates to users for the past six days and now plans to make the updates available to more people. Microsoft said the process had been going better than expected and that it would now be updating fifty per cent of Windows Phones immediately.
In a blog post speaking about the process, Microsoft said it was carried out at random and that people who haven't yet received the update should be patient: "Put simply, it's done totally at random, with absolutely no preference for carrier, model, or country."
The current status of the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update can be found here.
