Blackberry internet services collapse again

Having been restored earlier today, Blackberry internet services are down once again.

RIM BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900
Europe, Africa and the Middle East once again affected

Blackberry users were once again left without access to Blackberry Messenger and other internet sevices suffered further disruption.

Once again, the problems seem to be affecting users in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Thousands of digruntled Blackberry users have turned to Twitter to say that they couldn't use certain services.

Users from Germany, the UK, South Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere were saying that Blackberry services were not working.

The outage comes after an 20 hour service outage yesterday which caused widespread disruption to Blackberry internet services. RIM, the company that makes Blackberry phones, said that it had restored the service earlier today.

T-Mobile posted an update on its help & support page saying that Blackberry products had "experienced a number of problems with email, internet and messaging services". It attributed the problem on a "European-wide outage on a network run by Blackberry's manufactuer RIM".

It is believed that the issues relate to problems with a RIM data-centre in Slough.
