Caravan owners can find camping areas, chemical toilet facilities and more

Tom Tom has come up with a satellite-navigation device for campers and caravanners.

The sat-nav device includes navigation software that calculates the vehicle's size, weight and maximum speed to adjust routes and arrival times. Drivers can also set separate profiles for different vehicles.

Custom Points of Interest are stored on the device to help drivers locate places such as camping areas, chemical toilet facilities and camper service spots. A year of Live Services is included free, providing access to weather forecasts, real-time traffic information with HD Traffic, and Google Local Search.

The Go Live Camper & Caravan costs £350.
