Neologisms aplenty as Collins lets everyone and anyone suggest words for its dictionary
Reem, amazeballs and mantyhose could all find themselves in the dictionary, as Collins invites people to submit words they think should be included.
The dictionary said it wanted to keep on top of words emerging from pop culture.
"Most dictionaries are static. By allowing the public to truly participate, we're ensuring that we stay on top of the evolving English language," said Alex Brown, head of digital at Collins.
"We know people are passionate about the preservation and evolution of the English language, and we want to tap into that as new words continue to capture the public imagination."
Anyone can submit a word that will then be considered by editors. Click here to see words currently being submitted and to submit your own to Collins.
