Blackberry maker RIM is investigating a reported outage
As everyone purrs over the launch of Apple's new iPhone 5, Blackberry users are experiencing another outage with services down across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Blackberry maker RIM said there were "issues" with the Blackberry service:
"Some users in Europe, Middle East and Africa are experiencing issues with their BlackBerry service.
"We are investigating and apologise for any inconvenience," the company said.
Vodafone confirmed its customers had been having problems with their Blackberry phones:
"As far as we can tell all Blackberry services have gone down. This is a RIM issue and is affecting all devices across all networks," it said.
This isn't the first time Blackberry users have been left without services. In October 2011 Blackberry Messenger and other services suffered from disruption.
