People who bought Packard Bell laptops and desktops with Windows 7 get refund when they upgrade to Windows 8
Packard Bell is the latest manufacturer to offer a refund for a Windows 8 upgrade.
The company said that people who buy a qualifying Windows 7 PC between 1st October until 31st January 2013 can get the refund when they upgrade.

An online submission form for this refund will be accessible from Packard Bell's website. Customers will have to submit their contact details, Microsoft Customer Order Number, their Packard Bell product serial number and attach a copy (screen shot or scan for example) of their Upgrade Confirmation email from Microsoft and PC receipt of purchase.
The promotion applies to certain models of Packard Bell Desktops, All-in-Ones and Notebooks originally purchased with Windows 7 Home Basic, Windows Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, or Windows 7 Ultimate.
