Live and catch-up radio are both available through the app, which combines local radio stations and big national broadcasters. Over 300 radio stations are available on Radioplayer.
Previously only available as a web-based app, it is now available for iOS and another version is coming soon to Android's Google Play Store.
Andrew Harrison, chairman of Radioplayer, said the apps could help people discover more radio:
"Hundreds of stations are now just one mobile click away – another milestone in the industry's progress towards a multiplatform digital future."
The app is available now for iOS and is coming soon to Google Play.
