PC help: Report spam on Computeractive forums

What to do if you suspect a post is junk email

Q I have used the Computeractive forums for some time. Recently I found a post that looked like spam as it had a link to a company website. How can I report it?
Andrew Evans

A At the top-right of the message is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the centre. Click on this to open the Report Abuse page. Select the type of abuse from the dropdown menu and add as much information as possible into the text box below. Click on the Report Abuse button to save.

We can’t review every message on the forum so we are grateful when people report posts.

We review reported messages daily and anything unacceptable is deleted. If five or more people report a post as abusive it is automatically hidden.
