How to set your Firefox browser to make a sound when a new page is loaded or refreshed
Q When I used Internet Explorer as my web browser, it was set to play a sound whenever a page was about to load or refresh.
I now use Firefox, and although I am otherwise happy with it, there does not
seem to be any way to set up this kind of sound.

A One advantage of Firefox is that users can create small add-on features called Extensions for this browser and then share them.
There is an add-on that performs just this function; it can be downloaded here. Once installed, the sounds themselves can be changed in the Windows Sound Scheme window. To do this, click on the Start button and then on Control Panel.
For the Category view of Control Panel, click on Sounds, Speech and Audio devices and then on Change the sound scheme.
