Spamaware is a free program that helps clear email inboxes of annoying and dangerous junk messages
Unwanted junk mail, better known as spam, is a pain in the inbox.
Not only is it time-wasting, forcing you to weed out junk messages to find the genuine stuff hidden within, it’s also potentially dangerous.
Some spam contains links to phishing sites that try to steal personal information and passwords.
Perhaps the most annoying thing is that innocent users who don’t want spam are the ones who end up paying for it through time spent getting rid of spam.
While there’s not much that can be done to prevent spam, dealing with it can be automated. This Workshop explores the process of installing and using Spamaware, a program that identifies spam in Outlook or Outlook Express and disposes of it.
Here's how to use Spamaware.
