How to back up the Portable Apps Suite

Back up Portable App documents and programs on your PC

q-a-logo

The Portable App Suite is a convenient way to carry around documents and programs. Keeping them on a USB key does increase the chances of losing them, so backing up is vital.

The Portable Apps suite has a built-in backup tool. Click on the Portable Apps icon in the Notification Area to make the Portable Apps menu appear. Click on the Backup icon on the right and then on Backup Files.

Click on Next in the wizard that appears. Select a backup type and a folder to save the backup to. Select a compression option to save space, click on Backup, then Finish.
