Delete the backup copy of Windows

Save space on your computer by deleting the backup copy of Windows

If you have reinstalled Windows Vista you may find the installation software made a backup copy of the previous Windows installation. This can be found in a folder called Windows.old.

On my computer this was 8.5GB of wasted space that can be safely deleted, although it may be a good idea to check the user folder to ensure there are no documents left.
