Use a keyboard shortcut to quickly access the Task Manager
If a program crashes and is holding up everything else running in Windows, the Task Manager can help by forcing the problem program to stop.
The normal advice explaining how to start
Task
Manager is to press the Control, Alt and Delete keys and then click on Task
Manager. This can be a problem if Windows has become unstable, and so there is
direct keyboard shortcut. Hold down the Control, Shift and Escape keys and the
Task Manager will appear.
