Using Windows keyboard shortcuts to lock your computer
You may well be familiar with some of the keyboard shortcuts that involve the Windows key. For example, the Windows key and F will start the Windows Find function or the Windows key and E will start Windows Explorer.
Another useful one to remember, particularly if you are working on a sensitive document or you have children who are likely to bash away at the keyboard as soon as you’re out of the room, is Windows key and L. This combination will lock the computer until the Windows password is re-entered.
